Great chapter! The ending was so funny XD And I knew Ewan was going to interrupt them because he is just like that. I would have been too mortified at 11 years old to interrupt them (even now that I'm considerably older). I'm glad that they won't part in bad terms but I hope that Than can make Neil understand that he won't let go and will keep working for him :) And I wonder what will Nathan decide... will he show Sam's photos? Hope you update soon!

Okay, you made me stay up WAY past my bedtime reading this! And I have to work tomorrow! Ack!
I was really irked at Neil thinking Than would renege on his contract with the school, and leave it/him! He's got insecurity issues, too -- otherwise why would he fall for someone he thinks is so "untrustworthy"? I'm also shocked that Than wouldn't have broken down in tears at the realization! If he'd broken down then, though, Neil would have taken it as confirmation that he WAS giving up on the school contract... Makes me want to slap him! Not to mention Ewan, for spoiling their first sexy time instead of just walking away!
Okay, so it's sort of a grumpy review, but if I weren't hooked, I wouldn't have read all 21 chapters at one sitting! And until 4am, too! So, I'm looking forward to how you wrap this up. I do hope for a happy ending...

This is such a funny, heartwarming story that makes me incredibly sad at times. It's so well written. I can't wait to find out what happens next. Thank you so much for writing it.

This is amazing! I love this - and from a fellow Brit, I'm so proud :) Honestly, I've never been so moved by a fic like this before. I really can't find anything to criticise! It's difficult to strike the balance between genuinely emotive and labouring the point, but the way you've illustrated 'Than's (and Ewan's) situation and their feelings and responses is nothing short of genius. I envy you.

Plus I really love the references to things like social services, red phone boxes, rusks and Superdrug. There's something really quite satisfying about reading things Americans can't really relate to, especially when their fics are so full of things that make no sense to me... ;)

I very eagerly await the next chapter!

I have to calm down. I, haha, oh my god. I have to calm down.

From the beginning. All right. At first, reading this chapter, I had to get back into the mind of Than. He has a weird, deep, almost sullen narration. I was actually thinking about giving you a whole long ** review about how mature your writing style is. Nathan does all these immature things sometimes, but it is very obvious that he's a bona fide adult. There's no denying that while reading his thoughts.

Then, Neil. Okay. I'm sorry but I don't really like him too much at this point. I used to like him a bit more, but not really. Gosh. I don't even know why. He's okay, I guess, but his sweetness only impresses me in intervals.

The jerking part... haha. Okay. I call it jerking, but I guess the Euro guys call it wanking? Yes, yes. So they're jerking and it wasn't hot at all. Uh. Yeah. I'm guessing you're going to get a million and one reviews about how 'hot' the jerking was, but I didn't find it hot at all. It was more, like, revealing. Emotional. Sweet in an un-sweet way. Great. Genius. I did think about the whole sexual part of it, yeah yeah yeah, but that didn't stick out to me. The emotions... gosh. That was amazing. Not amazing in the generic 'omg yo that ** was effin' amazing' but in the 'you are the BOSS and I will now worship you and your amazing writing'

Ewan cracks me the ** up. Excuse my French, but he is so ** hilarious. LIke... I dunno. I couldn't help but laugh so much.

You rock the world. You are a genius. I would carry your imaginary babies. I love this story. I love your characters. I can't wait for you to update this (along with your other stories).

fantastic, lovely chapter, especially - as i always say! - impressing me because of the way they COMMUNICATE. oh, it's so lovely. vivid, too. mm. :)

but i nearly ** peed when Ewan walked in. You played that incredibly well - perfect words, Ewan being... double hilarious because he was so calm and collected. "Is he wanking you off?" ** genius, i literally had a small gigglefit and i'm not sure i've even gotten over it yet!

otherwise though, i fall more in love with Neil every second, just... everything. ohh. i am overcome with emotion!

oh, another thing that made me laugh - "with that?" - haha! caught me off guard and was just. brilliant. i think i might read this whole thing again, i almost forgot how much i enjoy it!

I went from sad for Than, to annoyed at Ewann for not listening to his uncle, to frustrated at Neil's reaction, to puddle of goo when they made up to laughing my head of at Ewan's interuption. That's a lot of emotions to go through let me tell you (and the laughing made my belly hurt (what are those damned muscles called in english?))

But really I'm just so happy to read from them again, they are all so cute and the previous chapters were so full of angst that a little fluff was welcome (I'm not talking about the sexy scene because I'm too biased when it comes to those, should find myself a boyfriend really).

So hot, and the characters so real. I look forward to your next update!
