I read your bio...expect a long review from ME. I liked at the ending how it rhymed, I'm not sure if that was intentional, but it just made the rhythm more flowing in a sense.
"So I close this old door behind me
Put my best foot forward
Other things are ahead
Life will begin again"

I loved this segment the most because it says: its time to move on and that's all there is too it, the future is coming close.
It felt much like a slap in the face thing, ya know? they're gone and you could do better; that hurts, and it in a way feels almost like a poem that needs to be said. great piece.
