I like how you use so many adjectives, the imagery is repulsive yet attractive at the same time. This goes in my faves.

I like it. I'm not crazy about it, though it's well written, but I definitely like it. Did you mean shrewed or shrewd? I'm assuming you meant shrewd, but shrewed: (verb) to be a shrew or do a shrew-like action in the past. That word makes me giggle, and I may have to use it in the near future. =)
