I feel like you could write a whole novel around this story...it leaves the reader burning to know what happened to Toquda, and to hear more descriptions of the lush new world that Sifalas has just ordered into existence. There is just the right touch of humor (the words "velveteen plant binge" just HAVE to elicit a smile), and the throwbacks to Douglas Adams are charming. I only wish that it were longer...

Very interesting. Original and interesting. Just the way I like short stories. The only thing that I have to complain about is that you lead the readers to believe that his third planet, Nogarla, is his newest planet... and at the end of the story you state that he has an even newer planet. Confusing, but it can be quickly fixed by referring to Nogarla simply as one of Sifalas' "older worlds".

Everything flows well. This piece has a feeling to it, like the author really knows and likes what he's writing. I can't wait to read more.

This was cool, I like the idea! I think more writing on the concept could prove very interesting.
