Given how violent and disturbed the characters and imagery was, that was surprisingly beautiful and sweet. The jock/loner cliche coupling has been done to death, but despite that I still felt like the characters, especially Patrick, were unique. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff! This is like, the eightieth time I've read this, and every time, it still gets to me. I don't know. It's just so touching. I can't believe I never reviewed it before... I thought I had... anyway... It's just amazing. You should be proud of this one. I mean, I'm sure you are, anyway, but I mean, lots of people are proud of their stories when their stories are crap. And this story isn't crap. This is real writing. So. You deserve to be proud of it.

One might think Oliver with his nasty words at the beginning would be a unlikable character, but I liked him from the first despite all he said and did.

I could tell the two had a history. Oliver deserved his second chance, but I understand why Patrick didn't want to give him one.

amazing oneshot. i really, really, really LOVED the end bit with the description of the nephilim. not to say that i didn't like the other descriptions of the other pieces of graffiti art - they sounded so beautiful too! i wish i could actually see it :]
