I LOVE the mob mentality you used in this chapter. I wanted to squeal when I saw it.

So far, I really really like the plot. And even though the characters who died (obviously) weren't mentioned much, I still felt terrible about their deaths. Somehow, you MADE me feel that way. I don't know how you did it, but keep it up girl. :)
