The last line really completed this. I have to admit, I sort of felt a shock when I read it. "I'm sorry I'm in love with you", perfect for this.

Fiction written in second-person usually creeps me out, but this was okay. . . I can't help but wonder what she was really cutting about, though. Just because she loves him? I don't get it.
