Very well-written. I enjoyed the imagery and the way in which you utilized the five senses to your advantage. Each line was a wonderful contribution to the characterization of the speaker. I especially loved the last two, which really made me feel for the character. I just wanted to give him a giant hug. Ya know? :/

I would say this is probably one of your best works. Every line has meaning and significance. The storyline is sad, but cool because it touches a little on the idea of realism. It makes me wonder how much I'll miss my loved one when they pass away. I know it's not pleasant, but it is inevitable. Okay, I'll try to stop babbling...

Except for one more thing--Sorry it took so long for me to review this. I actually read this pretty shortly after you posted it, but failed to review it until now. Excellent job though. :)
