Well, as long as you're still actually working on chapter 22 and not giving up on the fic, I suppose a little patience wouldn't *kill* me...maybe give me an ulcer (which I will still make you pay for), but definitely not kill me. Anywho, these little shorts are very cute, and help give a bit more insight to what Cat's life at the palace (right?) was like. You know, at first, I kinda liked Rakan. I was like, "Aw, yay, a good person amongst the bad", but then, after I found out that he'd rather help his country than his friend, I thought, "Jerk" and that was the end of my like for him. I don't *dislike* him, but he's not one of my favorite characters, either. CAT AND KITE!

Hmm, hmm, hmm...I like the first-person POV, but I also like the original version...but between the two, I think I prefer the third-person POV in the original fic. This was good, though! I think I just like third-person views better in general. ^_^

I'm so glad you decided to put these up! I've only read the first drabble so far, but I liked it a lot. The last two paragraphs were very poignant and well done. Poor Cat. I'm very interested to see his character develop over the course of the story.

Also, I like the title. :) I will be back for more soon. Nom nom.

I like this idea of posting side stories to go along with the main text! It gives a little bit of a side dish to the main meal. (Decided to comment along the lines of Cat's rice problem.) Heh, anyway, I like the exciting quality you can give to even their most mundane of actions! It's very nice to read even when they're not doing much of anything.
