I quite liked this, especially the "He loves the smell of his paint, the rich color, the warmth it contains..." part. Absolutely wonderful. :D

However, I did have an issue with this; "A lot of his bones are clearly visible..."

I would have gone with "Many of his bones are clearly visible..." because "a lot", to me, sounds juvenile and rather disrupts the flow of the piece. Other than that, great work! Kudos to you :)
