In addition to a very exciting fedora, this story was hilarious! It was, indeed, puntastic. I thought it might be an exaggeration on your part, but you most definitely delivered! Like the U.S. Postal Service. (Not rain, nor sleet, ect.)

Anyway, lovely beginning. I'd like to see more of Jack Hammer punning his way through more mysteries. Sammy the Shark... Sigh. Well, they can't all be that easy, right?

Jack was really amusing and in your face as well. I loved his sarcastic comments, both aloud and as part of his internal monologue.
