Somehow the brevity (as is often the case) makes each word more powerful and gripping.

Unexpected conclusion, which makes the whole thing worthwhile.

Concise, and poetic, I'm going to have to think about this one a little bit. Very thought provoking, especially being so short.

Something about the phrasing of the second and third line, I didn't like. I'm not sure if it was where the line break was or if it was the "taste at all of." I feel like you taste like something not of something, but maybe that's just me. Also the last two lines doesn't seem like a sentence, maybe you could combine them? Just a thought.

Anyhow I do like the piece. Those last two lines are really original and definitely make the piece. I also really like the title, it adds to the piece instead of just repeating what's already in it.

Oh I love this! It's so simple, but it says so much. Funny how you remember the little things, and not the big picture. At least, that's what this says to me.
