I enjoyed this...it really reminded me of things I used to think, or see in the past. It was long but not too long, that's always good. Continue writing, please(:

Amazing and strickingly honest.

Beautiful work. Just the right amount of imagery to flavour the piece but not so much that it overpowers. I can imagine the smell of the rain and the touch of the fog.

Only stumbling point I found was the "And I see twisting..." section. It was clear and vivid but a little less smooth to read. That can however, have been intentional, seeing as the inner workings of the human mind and soul are far from simple and streamlined.

The last three lines do tie it back together nicely though. Almost as if the candlelight is pushing aside the confusion.
