TopKat 2009-08-09 . chapter 2by 'bernard' do you, by any chance, mean... from Black Books?
i love that show :D |
Pilate 2009-07-31 . chapter 5Your words quicken my pulse even as they leave me breathless.
I would say more, but I'm caught. I'm snared within the string of reality and dream, overshadowed by looming balls of yarn that my claws aren't yet large enough to unravel.
I read this story, too much, too fast. It left me wandering lost but in the right direction. In that, there is perfection. |
ayadora 2009-06-18 . chapter 5The change in this chapter is huge. It's so much more organic than the rest. All the talk of the beach, the little town, and they're actually eating, instead of smoking and drinking coffee. |
 chamomilecricket 2009-06-06 . chapter 5oh, oh.
this story is so lovely it makes me cry.
i can't even tell you how much i love it. it's such pretty words about sometimes ugly things, and that's my favorite to read. c:
thank you for sharing with us, it warms me like a cup of tea. |
Aquafied 2009-06-05 . chapter 5yes but your daydreams are so poetic. |
TopKat 2009-06-03 . chapter 5i love jet so much; i can't help it.
i have fantasies like that, too. ahaha. the image that keeps coming back to me: i'm in the back of a van. it's dark, but dusky-dark, there are windows, like it's a VW camper. i'm crouched behind the driver's seat, feet curled beneath me, blankets and the entrails of food, evidence of living, all scattered around. I look behind me and smile, we're somewhere hot, somewhere dry, like texas or arizona. buzzards call overhead. the sky is blue
ahaha your stories make me all silly-serious.
i really enjoyed the venture into the little village, how the people spoke, and her joy in her lies. the state she came home in - Jet is such an animal! i liked that her incredulousness completely ended when the alcohol appeared. liked the image of her going out clubbing, too - great description of her painting herself up.
oh, oh! and the bit about Vodka killing the mouse. there was something very ominous, very significant about it. nice.

chamomilecricket 2009-05-21 . chapter 4i think this is my favorite story that i've ever read here on fictionpress, and, well, everywhere.
c:
i the way you compare them to things in nature.
it's so romantic and poetic.
can't wait to read more!! |
chamomilecricketcry 2009-05-19 . chapter 3this story is far too pretty,
lovely words about ugly things,
and i wish i could give you a far more interesting country to add to your list but you know how it goes, only sixteen and in the same city as your birthplace. |
TopKat 2009-05-01 . chapter 4ugh this is so catlike and delicious. not just the characters, but the way you write it; i love girls like Jet. i think everyone does. but they're just so evil!
you've got the whole psychology down pat. gorgeous. i love the other girl (am i supposed to know her name? is it Love? Kitten? i don't think anything else would fit, in my mind, now.) because she's so relatable, so like how i imagine i'd feel in the same situation.
except i think i'd probably let Jet ** me.
ahaha.
i fell head-over-heels for the bit about travellers - it was so beautiful, and Wanderlust is one of my favourite words, so double points for that. the personalities of the travellers were so bright, and i loved the contrast you made between them and Jet - how she so dearly wants the other girl to stay put, to the point of obsession.
this is just. agh. beautifully written and really, really spellbinding.

ayadora 2009-04-23 . chapter 4You have such a talent for communicating an aesthetic, the beauty of your characters in little details. |
 Aquafied 2009-04-17 . chapter 4oh, so good
i felt like it was a safari chase towards the end
not that she was going to love her, but tear her to pieces, you know? same thing in the end.
it is kind of almost a thriller in some sense
but more in the cooler sense of thriller night
good, always great. |
Stoker 2009-04-16 . chapter 4I love this story. The characters are perfect, and I love you for writing about them. |
ajin 2009-02-10 . chapter 3Somehow I get the feeling that me "stalking" most of your stories is what makes Poland one of your biggest fans...Even though this one is not my favourite, when it comes to other stories I re-read them a few times^^ Still, stale coffee is slowly growing on me.
I was just wondering...but did you abandon all your old stories? I mean, do you dislike them to such an extent that you deleted them from fictionpress or is it just lack of interest? I would really like to re-read some of the old ones...eh -_-' |
 Aquafied 2009-02-10 . chapter 3ugh
you could've written about a disgruntled lobster
and it still would've be a fine, fine thing
out of fishbone? really? that is so fascinating
i have a carving of a dolphin, or i did, it was out of wood
it made me think of that
i feel happy that i know what eastenders is
even tho i am from cali |
chamomilecricketcry 2009-02-06 . chapter 1funny how things start out with good intention and then rot.
your writing is grotesquely beautiful.
i'd call it ideal. |
