this is strong in it's brevity. i enjoy poems that focus on capturing a few details and allowing the rest to be written through the undertones. it takes skill to execute and you've done it superbly. the line "And politically, I've gone over the edge." is delicious, it conjures an entire back story in its self. great work.

While this was entirely short, it was incredibly well written.

I can almost picture it in my mind.
