hi! It's cute...but I was a question

She opened the door, put the shake in the cup holder, and saw him in the rearview mirror...all of which leads me to believe she's in the car sitting in the driver's seat. But, then she slaps him (when's he at the back of the car) without getting out of the car. And then after her rant she gets into the car and drives off.

?? Did I misinterperate it or did you not mention something??
