Oh dear, the beautiful red horse feeds on blood?! I won't want to encounter him!

I read this right after reading Broken Wings, so my first thought when you described the horse for the first time was "That's the same as the vampire horse. They're gonna die. =DD"
Maybe I'm a bit too sadistic about characters in stories. Anyway, wow. That was a good read. There's a lot of loose threads left hanging at the end, obviously, but I think that's sort of the point, and it's very effective. I like it. And I'd really like a cookie, but I don't think the horse's name was mentioned in Broken Wings. How sad for me. =(

The horse's name should be Donas (which is a traditional name for high spirited horses). It means, roughly, devil.

Since he is red with black points (mane, tail and socks) he is a bay...
