I understand that this is a parody. However, if you are trying to satirize something, you need to make it more ridiculous. This could be a believable stand-alone piece. It wouldn't really make anyone rethink their life, but it certainly wouldn't prompt someone to believe that this parodies any certain work. Keep writing!

This is completely true. A lot of girls wait too long to get married just because their boyfriend doesn't fit their idea of a "perfect" husband. And anway, who doesn't want a perfect husband...?

I think this defines the materialistic nature of North America perfectly. Good job.
