You do very much with so little in this story; it's wonderful. It's short but does a great job portraying the girl's pain. It makes me feel sad for the girl even if she is a creeper and a stalker. This is very different from other sort of teen-angst stories that I've read, in a good way-perhaps more grown up.

Some readers might be disturbed by how... Dark this one is. That would be my only slightly negative comment. I like this story, and I must say that like every other piece of your writing I've read, it's very polished and is really good.

It's also different, which makes it gold in my eyes. Especially with the mental discussion going on in her head, (a conversation between she and her 'quarry', I presume?) and the indecision.

I really like this. It's disturbing, but incredibly sad at the same time. My favorite part is how it's so restrained. The pain the main character feels is deep and lasting, drawn out in a way that makes it far more terrible than a quick and messy pain that comes quickly to death. Rather than simply slitting her wrists or stabbing herself, she takes the time to carve meaning into her work. I liked the flowers on the handle of the letter opener, too; they were a nice touch.
