Very sad and yet very beautiful. I always enjoy reading your haikus.

konnichi wa

Normally I'd write my favorite line. Since a haiku is so short, I am instead picking a favorite word. Fine, maybe two words. "Any more."

I don't know how to explain why really. The poem touches me, of course... tears don't keep her company... but the "any more" really makes it hit home. I can't even tell you why, as I said. It just... does. *closes eyes* Wow. Powerful.
