Interesting read... I do apologize, for I'm a bit tired and this review will be rather short.

I enjoyed your word choice and phrases ("drifters on the sea," "Leaving our ennui," etc.;, although, some parts read awkwardly, such this line: "Injured all are we."

However, these lines that I believe to be awkward could be liked by others who'll find them nicely worded... Depends on a preference, I supposed. Regardless, it was put together well, and as I said, I enjoyed your choice of words.
