Reviews For: Dante
Kinderwhore 2008-11-12 . chapter 1
I genuinely enjoyed reading this! The plot is so original, and your characterization of the warden was incredible; she was very real and believable to me, even though I knew next to nothing about her except her idealism and her feelings for Dante.

As for concrit... Well, I generally liked your writing quite a lot, but I noticed that occasionally (and this is very rarely) you'd use words that don't quite fit. For example:

"When I came to the finish of D" -wouldn't "end" be more appropriate?

There were a couple more, but that's really it. Good work!

Wow! This was amazing!

You brought across the character of the warden very well indeed...I could certainly picture her in my head and this is without knowing her physical description. Excelent job there. I found her very believable, though impossibly naive. I could even understand somewhat how she fell in "love" with Dante...she thought of him as the dark silent type who needs saving...haha yeah I m like that too...I ll probably be burned one day as well!:)

I think you used excelent imagery as well..eg: her office which looked like a cell and became one to her, "feeling the stale air on my sweating face, I was accosted by the heavy scent of death. Not death like the sight of a crime scene investigation, nor that of a freeway accident. This was the scent of man rotting away, slowly, agonizingly, his flesh melting from his bones a day at a time. This was the scent of murderers, rapists, thieves, men who had all done their worst in a society they could no longer face, given to me to watch over". That was really good.

Great work!
