ahahah. normally i don't go for themes like this, but this was superbly written. you pulled off the sarcasm extremely well. the stanzas flow nicely and all that jazz. overall, this is great.

I like the conversational tone of this poem - it seems even more accusatory and pointed, as you're talking directly to this person. Not only that, but I get the sense that the "saint" is justifying themselves, rationalising away their materialism. These justifications come across as excuses in your poem, making their motives seem dubious.

An interesting, well-structured poem.

There is truth to these words.. It takes a keen eye to write about something so many choose to ignore.
