Woah- wonderful story.

I liked this ending much better than the last one. It's a great little work of prose- and I loved how you continued with the "Land of Three Rivers" theme.

I mean, who HASN'T had a dream like this? I have weird dreams that just end like that all the time, and the feeling it leaves with me is irreplacable.

Was there any connection at all between the theme of "Mystery Street" about losing the way and the mother praying at the end of this one? It was something I noticed and wanted to ask.
