I really liked your story! It had everything: the plot, the atmosphere, very original and likeable characters (Eben was just so cute) and I liked your style. I just can't wait to read the sequel, so keep up the good work!

Excellent story. I guessed the Beauty & The Beast theme even before you asked the readers to guess it at the end of the first chapter (guess it's too late now though haha). This could easily be one of those stories published by m/m slash publishers. Hope to read more of the sequel soon too (and thanks for a great read)!

kay, so i read this story a bit ago, and yeah, it kind off blew my mind away. (as well as my pants)

i just wanted to let you know, this story's magnifico and i adore the main characters!! poor Sebby is so twisted up about himself.

Alright I liked this story, the writing was great and the plot was as well. I like the non-traditional personalities of both Eben and Sebastian but I did have a few qualms. I really got Sebastian's personality of violent yet insecure but Eben's bothered me a bit more. It seemed to me as the sudden transformation from shrill rebel to lovey dovey was a bit harsh. I think he forgave far too easily, not that I'm saying he should be a bitter old man or anything. I just think he should have retained more of his self-consciousness or something. Of course that was until the last chapter where I felt a little more at ease because it really helped to know that Eben was indeed able to be broken. All in all these were only minor annoyances when met with the whole picture this story represents. I love the beauty and the best theme and the political intrigue. I can't wait for the sequel to update. :)

This was great. At first I almost stopped reading...I'm not into the whole abuse thing...but it was well written so I couldn't stop. XD I was kind of confused about the Albert thing...from chapter 14 on, Arthur's called Albert, until the last couple chapters I think.

I really like how the relationship between Sebastian and Eben progressed though and turned into love. Well written. Need Sequel!

Sequel! This was great but I felt that Eben forgave him to quickly, I felt sebastian could have done more to earn his forgiveness.

WOW! That was so GOOD! GREAT! FANTASTIC! You had me laughing, crying, sympathizing, mad, happy, thinking and just plain trying to figure out what was going to happen next. That damn prophecy of a riddle and what the doctor said and also what Ebon said about the first thing he remembers and THEN, when Seb got taken away to prison and saw the necklace the 'prince' was wearing. ER I'm DIEING to know what is going to happen next. I mean POOR Eben, I was in tears when he was being tortured by Mortimer and all is friends. There are so many little tidbits of information floating around in my head right now trying to figure it all out. I'm biting my nails in anticipation of the sequel I can't wait until you post it.

Blergh! And here I came expecting an ending. *wail* Poor Sebastian. ANd That Mortimer pisses me off so bad, I was clenching and unclenching my fists which means that you do a great job of delivering your story.
