Oh, this has an eerie feel to it with a touch of distaste in the narrators words. But I like it. That feel makes this interesting to read. Also, the ending was pretty amazing. It really brought the whole idea to a point and added that little something. Nicely done.

Yeah, I can dig this. Why does patriotism have to be forced- is it something that doesn't come about on its own desirably? I feel like a lot of the things we think, do, and say are put into us at a young age wrongfully, that's why I can relate to this poem. I especially liked the last two lines,'every ghostly ring of the/ Liberty Bell', really reminds you of the now-dead roots of our country's proported selfpride. Nice work.

Great use of colours. Really liked it. The ending is great too, 'ghastly' makes the atmosphere come alive xD

I really liked this! It is hard to explain exactly how I felt while reading, because every time I read it (I read it four times) there was something different. I loved the overall description: very unique. The colors were used really well, and I liked the way you tied it in. Great job! :)
