'Twas quite cute like. I did like the basic concept of the story and the character Matthew, but the main character was slightly too whiney and angsty for my taste. I didn't find him too realistic...

I liked the ending though, and your use of words was perfect, not too centered on dialogue or description, but a balance of the two. Well done and keep writing! :D
