That was absolutely, completely fantastic. Until I read the epilogue. It was a really good ending, and I understood it, but it made me really sad. Honestly, though, this is most definitely on my Top 5 Best FictionPress Stories List. And it's at least number two. ;3

This is a good, insightful ending. Sad, but good.
What I don't understand is why Clara is giggling - she should be sad and sombre - she's lost friends, or has she got a child? is that why she's holding her stomach?
All and all, great story and congrats for finishing it!

I'm so glad Laughing Coyote is back! Even though he is a little darker then when she last left but that's to be expected, i guess:( I hope the girls don't start hating the Crows! I'm wondering how many chapters you're planning on doing? And if you're planning a happy ending?(Please, please, please, please!) I think it's good that Clara feels no sense of loyalty for the English! That atleast makes it a little simpler for her emotions to deal. And even I she feels loyal to her Irish roots(Go Irish!:D) are the Irish at "war" with the Indians too? I don't know much about all this, unfortunatly...UPDATE SOON!

Although some of the reading is difficult because of grammar and spelling, I'm enjoying the story you're telling. Nice plot. I can't wait to see what happens when the girls are taken back to the village.

I wonder what the two little girls will think when they see that the indians that killed their parents want to take clara in...
