I like how you mingled the idea of exploration with the idea of being rooted to a place. Being a stump you obviously cannot move about, yet at the same time you talk about comfortable places where you can ‘splor’ and discover, you also talk about how the other person is trying to get you to explore. It makes me think of a subtly conflict between the different parts of yourself. You are happy in either medium, yet unsettled because the other exists.
