So you will actually post the follow-up novel sometime in the future? I'm rather interested in it after reading this short story. Do you have a title in mind yet?

Vampires, witches and werewolves are familiar territory. Shapeshifters somewhat less. You run the risk of telling some of the same stories over again...

But this truly is unique. A human agency that hires non-humans to deal with other non-humans that are a threat to society? Wow! As an added bonus, the reader doesn't get lost in this mix of different creatures because he's familiar with the lore behind each of them. With a little imagination (or you might have already figured out how), you have plenty of opportunity to show how their different attributes and powers interact with one another, both with the team working together and against the creatures they fight with.

Take your time, Faith, you've got a lot on your plate (including my stuff, and I feel a little guilty foisting it on you). It'd be best to list priorities for stories and beta-ing so you don't spread yourself too thin. In the meantime, I look forward to more of this jewel of an idea, whenever you can get to it.
