Because if one person sees, they can begin to make a change. There are people who will listen to you, who will want to change things too, it's just a matter of findng them, of not giving up. Just by writing this poem, you are getting your voice out there. Words are powerful, you just have to believe in them and yourself. It takes just one candle, one match, to light the darkness.
