Perhaps another review will help in the motivation department? :) June's internal musings about the men she had dated lately was interesting. Jake definitely has a temper! And calling himself "her man" was a bit premature...add that to yelling at her son and you've got a definite turn-off.

I liked the cute interaction between Ben and June at the end of the chapter. It seems like they are both interested in exploring a relationship at some point, but neither one has figured out that the other is thinking along the same lines. I've always enjoyed stories about childhood good friends growing up and falling in love, so I'm eager to see how you work this story out with its different twists!

Look out Mike! JP's trying to manipulate you... I hope you are able to keep working on this story. I can't wait to read more and see how things work out with Luke, Ben, and June. It is interesting when you show Luke's perspective of Ben and June's interactions, such as when they were chopping wood.

Jake is rather nasty...it's great how Luke shut him up! It was also interesting to see how Luke reacted to being introduced to Ben. He has mixed emotions, which is understandable, but I love how he gave Ben a hug. Can't wait for more!

This sounds intriguing, and I love the setting. I used to live near Coeur d'Alene, where Ben stopped for lunch, but I haven't seen much of Montana other than quick "drive-throughs." I can't wait to see what happens with Ben, June, and Luke, especially given their tangled pasts. JP sounds like he is teetering on the edge of sanity, and could cause some serious problems for them! Keep up the good work...
