"Mother says there’s no way I can remember that…I remember everything." God, my heart just dropped when I read that line. It's so emotionally vivid and powerful. Wow!

The second section is so beautiful. I loved the pebble imagery; it was so peaceful! The part about learning to ride a bike was relatable, and I liked that; it made me look back to the happier moments of my childhood, and you made me smile, MC, so I thank you for that!

I used to play baseball when I was a kid, and like you, I'd always find the flowers or the nature around me more interesting, so I felt so connected to that part.

AWW! OH MY GOD! The father in this story sounds like an incredible man! *Tear* He bought you roses. I can't stop crying! I'm like a puddle of tears right now. THIS STORY IS SO AMAZING!
