Poetic... then again, it is in poetry. One thing, though. The 'do you want me like the bird wants the worm?' thing was kinda... out there. Not bad, in any way, just kind of taking away from the intensity of the poem. I myself have never found birds eating worms romantic, but skoo dee doo. Anyway, very nice, emotional.

i like the wording and the emotion behind this poem, but the big spaces between the verses annoy me. but that's only because i'm weird like that. this is--it's such a mundane word--cute and very loving.
