 Kaiyako Kagami 2009-07-27 . chapter 10Hey!
Terrific chapter, I loved reading every second of it~! :]
Poor Hibiki, the last scene made me feel so bad for him. I was literally like: "OMG YUKA! YOU SUCK." I mean I know it's not technically her fault, but still she still aggravates me to no end: even in her death. Grr. For some reason I imagine Hibiki and Shiori to sit down and have this heart to heart discussion about Yuka and her death and how much they both cared for her but could never really show it (Matsuoka because he's emotionally stunted and Shiori because Yuka was just MEAN to her) 0_0 Still, I wish she was alive for Matsuoka's sake at least :|
Oh wow, the enmity between Katsu and Gaspare is growing! I don't know if that's a good thing or not but it sure makes for a whole lot of drama. And of course Drama + Romance + Slight Angst = VERY HAPPY ME. Ha-ha, I'm so messed up, and now I'm wondering why this review is so oddly long. :] Oh well, I guess I had a lot to say today~ Stefania's attitude is contagious, she actually kind of put me in a really good mood :] Good enough to actually think about getting to work on some of my chapters today.
Ha-ha, anyway really: great chapter, loved reading it~
Hope to see more soon :P

P.S. Sorry for the sorta/semi-late review :| I don't know what's gotten into me. *Sighs* :D |
 Chibi Princess 2009-07-26 . chapter 10omg how sad u_u |
Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-07-25 . chapter 10 ...wow...
Simply wow.
This chapter was so powerful. The circumstances the characters are battling against was portrayed in a manner that pulls you into their world of pain, worry and sorrow. I loved, really loved, the end when Hibiki comes to the realization of the most valuable but lost thing in his life. The description of him drowning in thoughts and feelings for her, really for a moment made me feel overwhelmed with so much emotions. It's remarkable when you think where he was once before and where he is now. One favorite part from this chapter was these wordings that described their relationship so well:
"In growing closer, they had made enemies out of each other in their minds; trying to become fierce competitors in the game they called their relationship. Their pride and paranoia were simply more dominant than any lingering feelings they felt for each other."
I just hope Hibiki can fight through this and emerge has a better person for Yuka's sake at least. As for Gaspare and Shiori, it's just so hard to see them so close yet so far. This chapter narrated the heartbreak and the way the characters were handling their heartbreak really well. You did an excellent job despite being exhausted :). Great work! And I will be waiting for the next chapter earnestly! |
 Kaiyako Kagami 2009-07-07 . chapter 9Hey!
Great chapter, I enjoyed reading it! I feel so bad for Shiori, I mean seriously, it's like she just can't catch a break. Nothing about Matsuoka in this chapter, hope he hasn't tried to commit suicide or something as well! :| *Shudders*
But poor guy, I mean okay he's not exactly NICE, but I can't imagine how it feels to know someone elses death is your fault.
EITHER WAY. LOVING YOUR STORY :)

P.S. Glad you had fun in France :D |
Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-07-03 . chapter 9 The performance was phenomenal. Maybe because you're a musician yourself, you have talent that enables you to narrate the atmosphere, melody and feelings so admiringly (because it never works when I try, lol) It holds you in, that scene. And with her overflowing emotions for Gaspare it touches you too. It was like dark chocolate (sorry for the food comparison always ^-^) Soft, sweet and irresistible but also tainted with a bit of bitterness (her pain). I think this chapter was a good reaction chapter. It kind of goes into the personal depth of how Shiori is dealing with this tragedy. I enjoyed reading it.
I also like Owen. Hmm, don't know what his role may be...but just hope he doesn't turn out to be a bad guy or anything, haha. Thank you for writing this chapter! I can't wait till your next installment! (Also I enjoyed reading your Paris tale ;) Keep them coming!) |
Chibi Princess 2009-07-03 . chapter 9my sister names everything from her phone to her chocolate milkshakes, so yours isn't as random as i'm used to. she calls them her 'babies'
btw, what changed Erisa? |
 Kaiyako Kagami 2009-06-15 . chapter 8Hey!
Oh wow, the letter really got to me. Now I just feel bad for Matsuoka. I mean I know he was a jerk to her and everything, but having to hear that someone's death (suicide rather) could be or is your fault. That's harsh.
Honestly though I don't think it was just him. I mean here comes the nature vs. nurture argument, but maybe Yuka would have turned out sort of LIKE him if she had been treated the way Shiori was. Still, I kind of understand her (not like her, really, but understand). Poor girl :(
Well, I can honestly say I'm practically sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for the next update :)
Keep up all the spectacular work!

 Kaiyako Kagami 2009-06-15 . chapter 7Hey!
Wow, I really liked how Stefania stood up to Matsuoka. Well me, with shoujo drama for the brain, thinks that she might just fall for him or vice versa. Which surprisingly I sorely don't want because I still believe Matsuoka and Shiori are meant to be, even though I have no idea why I still support this couple after all this time, I still amazingly do.
Other than that I really have nothing to comment on. I mean plot is terrific. Characters realistic and often unpredictable. And writing is spottless, not a grammar or spelling mistake in sight :)
Absolutely loving it, and with that I move on to the next chapter~!

 Kaiyako Kagami 2009-06-15 . chapter 6Hey,
I am so sorry for the late review! This story was always sitting in my bookmarks, but I never got around to reading thanks to my INSANE amounts of math homework. Thankfully summer break has finally started for me so I can read and write a more then I usually do.
Anyways, I really enjoyed the chapter. It was insightful. I love how you portray Matsuoka, and despite his anti-heroism I think he's my favorite character because he is so, well, realistic.
On to the next chapters I go!

Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-05-17 . chapter 8 That letter really strikes you. Wow...I am just so baffled right now...So much emotions, so much agony--they are all constructed so excellently that it makes you go through the roller coaster rider. I really don't know what awaits in the future, but I can expect it to be very good. I can't wait to see how you're going to draw this out :) Excellent, marvelous chapter! Great work! |
Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-05-17 . chapter 7 So Hibiki did love Yuka, in his own unique sort of way. I think its hardest for Hibiki because he's the type that can't show it all and can't share with others like everyone else. I'm glad for the Gaspare/Shiori kind of reunion, even though the news that brought the union is devastating. Excellent chapter. |
Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-05-17 . chapter 6 Yes...I kind of felt this one coming. But regardless, it really blew me away. It was like a storm reading this chapter. It was beautiful but so hard to take (I think storms are beautiful, I know I'm weird ^-^) I'm kind of at loss at what to say right now. It's just speechless. |
Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-05-17 . chapter 5 Poor Yuka..it's all so sad...so very sad. Man it's all because of Hibiki...but then it's not entirely Hibiki's fault either! I don't know I just think there is a reason behind the way Hibiki is. Perhaps he is the saddest of them all...but yea...maybe I just like him too much...Excellent chapter, though! :) |
Eun Ai Hoshi 2009-05-17 . chapter 4 O, Katsu is a little interesting thing. I like the silent conversation Shiori had with Gaspare--that moment was really captivating. Their meeting also gives you goosebumps. Excellent work! |
