You rock. Seriously, your writing is amazing. It's so raw, so real...I don't think I've come across another authour who is willing to push the limits as much as you do, and with such elegance. This story was great, just like everything else you wirte.

Another beautiful story by my favorite author. I think it's funny how you're style has grown on me since we've known each other and now my style kinda involves a little bit of you. Freakin' awesome.

You confused the fuck out of one little Lain. I saw The Quarter update and was all "FUCK YES... Wait. What's this?"

BUT I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE. Now that I've found this...I'm all god.

This really reminded me of this short story in a book I just read today. Basically, the idea of that story was that there was this Russian immigrant family in Australia who had moved to get away from Stalin. Through these angsty circumstances, they meet this family in which the father survived one of Hitler's concentration camps, and his wife killed herself from untreated PTSD from a concentration camp, leaving behind two sons and the afore mentioned husband. They just meet and in seconds they're already extremely close because they've both been through terrible things and have both survived it.
SO! Out of my rambling, I feel like Terry and Jon kind of have the same thing going on. They've survived their metaphorical Hitler or Stalin and it's brought them together.

Loved it as always. There's something really gritty and real about your writing and I either respect you for it, envy you for it... or both. :P

Weird, but wonderful all the same. And you know, for once, I'm satisfied with not knowing how it all turns out. ^-^ It's love at its purest with no lust, resentment, whatever, to taint it.

I don't think I've ever read the fic you're thinking of. Let me know if you do find it; it sounds interesting.

You know, I only read your original a couple of weeks ago. Now I wish I could refer back to it to see how it has changed.

My gut sense is that it is a much fuller, richer story now. Like I have a much better impression of who both Terry and Jonathon are. That the mood is deeper and more flavorful, even if the flavor is a bit bitter at times.

Could be that my impression stems only from having read the previous some time ago, but I don't think so.

Umm. So, love the story. Your writing stirs just the right level of emotion in me...enough angst to keep me interested, not so much that I roll my eyes. Characters in crisis, imperfect and struggling to get along. My bread and butter, my soulmates. I love your people. So loveable and hateful, all, but at their core, real. Believable. Three-D. Complex, flawed people make life worth living, both in fiction and reality.

This is the story that got me hooked on your writing, so it's great to see it again. It's not surprising how the two boys who had gotten into the same situation and loved the same man end up gettng along fairly well. It ends on a hopeful note, and I like that. Yeah, it's great to see it again.

funny how i just reviewed this almost-the-same story like a week ago..hahahaha =] i still love it. and it makes me feel really happy. but at the same time, as sappy as it sounds, it kinda hurts my heart.. ya, now i feel like a dork for saying that but obviously im not deleting it.

also, that story sounds incredibly like this actual BOOK that i was reading. but i'll try to look for it...if i can. i really don't think i can because i know i haven't read a fic like that but ill try.
