'The red shoes made you do it'. I loved that line. That line made me leave this review. ;-)

"...in the dirty London dark." This line flowed particularly well.

"You watched people with black umbrellas almost trip over you." A sad image, but one that's filled with dreary realization and honesty.

The red shoes have such a nice meaning--a possession that gives the reader trouble or confidence, or perhaps, the red shoes even represent the inner 'sinful' nature of the speaker, or the 'sinful' nature that some might perceive of her, when she's really a very nice girl. Sorry for the ramble, I just really like the 'red shoe' parts haha :)
