The second paragraph was breathtaking. Overall I really liked it. And I digged the Spider and the Fly reference. That's one of my favorite books. Not only is the story awesome, but the art is fantastic.

this sentence is wildly cool:
'When white, lace veined wings began to fight their way through the skin of your back, I knew it was not the weather.'
so it's a class assignment. build up something around this sentence and discard the rest.
imo.
