i felt anxiety as i read this; it tells a story in a bit of a veiled tone. I am sure many people can relate to this, flattery is easy if one has the tongue for it. It seems like the narrator lacks some self-esteem, that made me feel somewhat glum and sympathetic about that. The emotions in this work do work quite well. good work!
