I'm not sure if you wanted praise or constructive criticism, so I'll give you both.
Sorry if this comes out harsh at all. You could use work on your dialogue grammar. If a line of dialogue ends in a period, it should be a comma before a "say" verb. There's a bunch of rules on the links on my profile page that I think could help with that. Also, your scenes could be framed a little more. More details would be nice as long as it's not too much. :)
I liked your characters though, and you pulled off the rivalry turned love thing. I also like your dialogue and the voices of each character. Most of all, you should be proud of being able to finish a story. I don't think I'm ever going to be able to do that, so yeah, just the fact that you managed to stay and finish an entire story is impressive in itself. Great work! :)

Ok there should be way more then 38 votes for this story! This was such a cute and simple love story. I enjoyed reading it keep writing! Maybe put a little more action in ths soccer games like a cool move or something idk. =) Good job!

I luv ur story! I used to do soccer but I do other sports now. Where I live Soccer is a BIG deal. Most of my friends do soccer. Sometimes it can be annoying but sometimes i miss it. My friend said i should do soccer again but i told her i wanted to do lacrosse. well anyways keep up the good work and if u get this published I will buy it and my friends might too!
