You change tenses quite a bit here. I would work on that. Otherwise it's an interesting piece. Very relateable and understandable, but the descriptions are different, which is nice. I honestly, don't really like that last stanza. I would leave it just as the first part (less repetitive), but maybe that's just me.

was very nice.

I was very confused about the dragon though.

At first it's inside, then it is knocking at your door to go in?
