I like the premise of your story, if you're having trouble or just want a book to read, you should try Teresa Medeiros' After Midnight, and then there's the sequel The Vampire Who Loved Me. They're really interesting and well written, 19th century and vampiracy.

The only thing is...your story is set in Victorian Times, but the language is more modern, which is totally fine and i read your profile about getting the terminology correct, and i definately don't have it right, but if you want google Georgette Heyer or read more Regency/Victorian based novels. Most of what I know I picked up from reading Julia Quinn, Teresa Medeiros, Celeste Bradley, Suzanne Enoch, Victoria Alexander... etc. If you need more PM me OR! lol you could completely ignore this, but keep going !! yay!! lol
