Love it, though it seems more like a poem than a song. Either way, very good. I especially loved the part about the ribbons fading ("what's pink was red, what's grey was white"). I just think that was written very poetically, and is such a unique way to describe fading colors, you know? I'm sure you don't, because it's like 11pm, and I'm probably sounding like a rambling moron, so I'll stop here.

this was beautiful. nicely rimed and thought out, I could practically hear the song with a piano going inside my head. I love this.
