This is getting intresting, i like both of the charactors in the story. I especially like the fact it's British - hey most stories i've read on hear are American.

But this chapter reminded me that i have my biology AS exam soon. :S Lol.

You know, I'm still wondering what he was doing in the high school when Ethan first got beat up.

Oh yeah, and the phrase "they learned a lot about each other" bothered me because you can only learn so much about a person in one sitting, and I'd rather have you show me this, not tell.

but otherwise I love love loved this chapter, too!

so far this story sounds really interesting...i mean, it's hooked my attention enough to read this whole chapter and click to the next, and I'm really really tired right now, so bravo!

I like your handling of the bullying/beating scene. It's something that easily can verge into the cliche, especially with slash stories, but I completely did not expect Avery's entrance, and especially not the beating he gave Jamie.

I would suggest you might edit out some of the explanation about Ethan learning to believe the crap Jamie tells him, because this is from Ethan's point of view, not an omniscient narrator. Show, don't tell. It will be more believable and readable that way.

Well, on to the next chapter...
