ooh, good writing; I like the metaphor of "bitterness, anger, and vacant dreams" as flavors that have lost their taste. Your imagery was great; I could picture the burnt out indigo candles and the miserable woman in her best dress. I also really like the concept behind this poem: a woman who has lost all hope, who has turned to alcohol and maybe even gasoline to ease her pain. I have nothing negative to say about this poem.
