I really liked this..odd, but I enjoyed it. A lot. The first line was eh-ish, but since it was a prompt, I'll excuse it. :)

I liked the character development, but I wish you had elaborated on how old he was. And the main character too...it helps with the mental picture. While this story was the sort that didn't particularly need character description, ages would have been helpful.

But overall, awesome job. I don't think you're a homicidal maniac. I think you're an awesome writer.
