lux perpetua 2009-01-17 . chapter 25what a lovely ending on the ice! Gabe definitely is the guy for Shannon, isn't he?
One thing I particularly like about these last few chapters is how the different character's personalities are coming into sharper relief. By the end, I've realized that Alex isn't the guy for Shannon, but Gabe is.
Gabe's story about the church in the field was very touching. |
pessimistic romanticist 2009-01-16 . chapter 25Aw, that was a really cute ending, It was interesting seeing Shannon grow spiritually and Gabe too at the end, I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading any future stories you decided to write, your story was inspiring to me, both spiritually and as an aspiring authoress.

Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 22 stupid PMS...you got me crying with this installment. |
Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 21 i am envisioning Alex smitten with Liv...and going to church because of her... :P
i love when he cracked up- it's crazy how little we do think when we're emotional or panicky! |
Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 20 AGH! the suspense! another great chapter btw...dialogue, flow...maybe a bit too brief about this competition with Liv |
Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 19 i have a sneaking suspicion that you hauled this dialogue straight from a Bible study with your folks- it's that genuine (with the youth of the participants included). |
Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 18 the last line is a hook! |
Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 17 o, deep stuff, physically difficult stuff.
always revealing to have a backstory that the character doesn't know.
btw this is not exactly related but have you seen the movie Big Fish? |
Laura Rizzo 2009-01-13 . chapter 16 i like the parallel of the verbage from both Shannon and Gabe's worlds.
