This is a very wittily written story that uses violence and mythology- two of my favorite things! _ I just noticed that you used parenthesis a lot. Also, in this paragraph:

After much walking (it was only a few hours, really, but Athena had a thing for dramatics (she had been spending too much time with the Muses on Mount Helicon, you know.))

XD It was rather good. Though I heard it different :/ I heard Athena ripped Arachne's work apart and Arachne was so grief striken she hung herself. But you're probably right. :) It was amazing!
