You know, I like it. You obviously have very strong feelings on the subject. And since it's already been graded and all, I'm assuming you don't really want any criticism on it. But of course, I'm going to give some anyways because that is who I am, and apparently my fingers cannot be stopped. So here we go.

There were a couple sentences in here that actually made you seem more prejudiced against heterosexuals. I mean, you're probably not, because that would make you a Cody Bell status hypocrite, and as we all know, that's not cool. I don't remember the exact sentences, but it just seemed kind of negative, and I was kind of thinking that it would prove your point better if YOU seemed open-minded. I mean, obviously, I get it, and you're right about pretty much everything you said, but it was just the way you phrased it that made it seemed a little... heterophobic. Cody Bell status.

Also, I don't really know what the assignment was, so maybe it was like, informal or something, but it just didn't really strike me as a very academic essay. I don't know. It had great voice, obviously, because you're totally passionate about the subject, and it shows. But I don't know. It just seemed like a person talking, and not really an essay. Maybe that's what you were going for, though.

Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed it. And jeez, how many times can I say that I've thoroughly enjoyed an essay? No. You've definitely got something here, writing-talent-wise. Good job. This deserves at LEAST a 98 :P

It's so convincing (Okay, I already was pro Gay marriage before), but I bet if you showed it to one of these damn religious homophobes it would give them something to think about (although of course they wouldn't ADMIT it).I'm glad you got 97, you def deserved it. Everyone needs to write this kind of stuff and send it to the American government. I don't even LIVE in America but that damn middle America 'bible belt' makes me so mad! Not that we have seperation from the Church or Gay marriage over here, Catholics still run the flipping place.

Brilliant and you're totally right of course. Half the time my brain can't even translate the "gay is wrong" side of the argument into English. Gay marriage is awesome. No argument. I'm not sure that you'll find much argument on here though...Writers don't tend to be very radical suppressers of freedom...But hypocrisy is alive and well in opinions today, so some idiot probably will take up the point with you. Someday people on this site will look back and say "yeah, remember when gay people weren't allowed to marry, how dumb was that!" the same way we look back on racial segregation. Hopefully, our brains will actually wake up at some point. =D
