LostInMe 12/29/08 . chapter 1It's true, people like reading depressing poetry. I read it, I write it. It's interesting, but it's not the truth. Personally, I am a very happy person with no problems. I have a great life, so it makes no sense for me to write about depressing things. I do, though, because that's what people like to read, and because it's fun to write about. I'm not going to stop after reading this poem. But this poem was completely truthful. I applaud you. |
Jocelynthewriter 12/28/08 . chapter 1ahw this reminds me of 6th grade when you scared the hell out of me and now you are my bestest friend ever THANK YOU for realizing these things LOL |
Abby Arons 12/28/08 . chapter 1you're poem was beautiful. I sound like a hypocrit now, because I just finished uploading a whole bunch of poetry about self destructive decisions. But I really do love myself, and I love life too. And I think you addressed some pretty powerful stereotypes with a type of grace and brilliance that is almost blinding. Thank you for sharing this. |
